Catch Up, Round 2

March 30, 2010

I’ve been alternately too busy and too lazy to actually post all the stuff swimming around in my brain.  So, quick list to get a little bit of it out:

I am loving reading in bed with my new lamp!  Now I am getting the urge to redo my whole bedroom.  I am not much of “spring cleaner” but I am feeling the need for some reason.

My March quilt blocks are done!  I’m quite pleased that I have managed to stay on top of these.

I am continuing to adjust to the new office. I’m starting to feel pretty comfortable. It’s definitely more isolated than the old place, but the quiet is making my productivity go up quite a bit.

I am so jealous of everyone who gets a spring break this week!  Not that I have any urge to (ever) be a student again, but I would love a week off.  Since Easter is not a federal holiday, we don’t get any time off, like Good Friday, at the bank.  However, I did take a “mental health day” yesterday – it helped a lot! I’m glad I took it when I did though, because it’s looking like next week is going to have some overtime involved.  I’m also house/cat-sitting for a family that is on spring break; just being away from my own apartment is almost a vacation.

I’m exhausted.  My sleep schedule got messed up last week due to a temporary work schedule change.  Now I’m back to normal, but my body isn’t quite caught up. Off to bed!

I am jealous of the spring break thing as well, but certainly enjoyed my time back in the day.

I hope the rest of your week goes well.
